The heart of the Kerpow Paddle is a powerful ESP32 micro controller board that has multi channel sensor capabilities to sense left and right hits. Coupled with an improved 2000 mAh (was 1100 mAh) battery for long use ensures plenty of game play (approx 4-6 hours). Sensors are pressure sensitive film to ensure only genuine clean hits are scored or a more general Piezoelectric Sensor that scores any impact. Rather than Bluetooth, we opted for WIFI connection, this is a stronger and more reliable signal. With added features like magnetic charging cables, it makes it easy to recharge.
All you need is Wifi, this can be a mobile phone hotspot and normal broadband etc. When the paddle is connected, it remembers the WIFI details so when switched on, it connects quickly.
The software has 5 modes. (more games will be launched late 2026)

Our pro paddles have a focused 80mm x 80mm pressure sensing area scoring genuine hits. They also score the difference between left and right hits.

Boss Battle – NEW GAME. Team game Red Vs. Blue. More kicks means you opponents health bar looses health. FINISH HIM!
Hit
Counter
Start the timer, the winner is the most kicks when the time runs out. With 12 paddles a class of 24 is easily kept busy.
Reaction Timer
Wait for the whistle and KICK! Fastest kick is the winner. Even with 4 paddles, a class of 20+ is easily occupied, if you play winner stays on, 3 new players play every 15-20 seconds.
Balloon Burst
Wait for the start and KICK! Fastest kicks will burst the balloon ! Can set with 4 different levels.
Stamina
You all have 100% health, but its ticking away. Kick to keep alive! 4 levels, slower timer is more endurance. Faster timer needs fast kicking and more intense !
Tug
of War
Red Vs. Blue, this is a team game, the winner is decided if one team is completely defeated or when the timer runs out.
